Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board is inviting candidates
(Indian
citizens only) to apply online for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police
(Taluk &
Armed Reserve) with pay scale of Rs.36900 - 116600.
There are 399 vacancies in the subordinate police of Tamil Nadu(Taluk), 45
vacancies in the subordinate police of Tamil Nadu(AR).
Stages of exam : written, physical test, interview
Education : any degree
Exam date : 25 & 26 Jun 2022.
Fees : 500
Age limit : 21 to 27, check the notification for details.
Syllabus :
1. Compulsory Eligiblity paper : tamil subject
2. Scoring paper:
(a) General knowledge – candidate have
to refer the topics mentioned in the official notification, though there will
be a topics like history, geography, polity, current affairs, science,
economics etc
(b) Psychology – basic maths, reasoning, also some psychology and basic English
questions can be asked in the exam.

The main written examination is held separately for candidates belonging to
the
departmental quota.
The departmental candidate may apply both for open and departmental
examinations, if he or she meets the eligibility requirements.
If the required number of candidates is not available for any of the
special
quotas (Departmental and Sports), the vacancies will be transferred to
general
quota and filled using communal reservation.
In accordance with existing rules, there is a communal reservation within
each
Quota Applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree obtained from an institution
/
university recognized by the University Grants Commission / Government in
10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5 pattern or the 10 + 3 + 2 / 3 pattern in case of diploma
courses.
In contrast, candidates who have earned Bachelor's degrees through Open
Universities will not be eligible.
