India touches 75,000 recognized start-ups:
The Department for Promotion of Industry and
Internal Trade (DPIIT) has recently recognized 75,000 start-ups. This has been achieved
when India is celebrating the 75th year of Independence. This start-up ecosystem was initially started
on interest of innovation and entrepreneurial
spirit
Start-up ecosystem in India:
v Our Prime
Minister Narendra Modi on August 15, 2015 has dreamed a new developed India
that will uses its entrepreneurial potential of its fellow people.
v On January 16, 2016, this scheme was started to
advance an action plan for creating a start-up ecosystem in India.
v January 16 was recognized as the National
Start-up Day.
v 6 years then, this plan has incredibly made
India the 3rd largest ecosystem in the world.
v Initially 10000 start-ups were recognized around
808 days. The recent 1000 start-ups were recognized in 156 days of time which
shows the Indian citizens involvement in entrepreneurship.
v As for the record, over 80 Start-ups were being
recognized every day. It will be the highest rate around the world.

As recorded that, 12% of the start-ups belongs
to IT services, 9% of the start-ups belong to Healthcare & Life Sciences, 5%
of the start-ups were professional & commercial services, 7% for the education, and 5% to the agriculture.
Start-up India scheme:
The start-up
India program was an initiative of the government of India which was announced
by Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi during the Independence speech on 15th
August 2015 This scheme was based on three areas namely; Funding support,
simplification and handholding, and Incentives.
