on 28 July 2022, the opening of the ceremony was launched at Alexander Stadium in Birmingham,
London.. In this event the Indian contingent
was led by P.V Sindhu and Manpreet Singh, unfortunately our gold medallist
Neeraj Chopra will not participate due to injury.

Chanu was the first Indian to won gold medal in CWC 2020. She won gold medal in 49kg weightlifting
category.

the events of day 3 of CWC, India’s medal rises to 6, as noted that Achinta Sheuli and Jeremy won gold medals in
weightlifting.

the event of day 4, India medals rises to 9, as Vijay won Bronze in Judo,
Shushila won Silver in Judo and Harijinder won Bronze in weightlifting.
