Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched India’s First Smog Tower
Arvind Kejriwal launched India’s first smog tower at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in Delhi. This was setup to filter the pollutants in the air within 1km radius. This tower was 20metre hight and it was constructed at the worth of Rs. 20 crores. Scientists of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee will supervise the Smog Tower and will submit a monthly report. To improve the air quality these much efforts are taken by Delhi government. If it is proven to be successful, then more towers will be launch all over Delhi. Another smog tower is setting up at Anand Vihar. This one will be inaugurated on August 31 and it’s being built by Central Pollution Control Board.
